Critically acclaimed Regents Opera and New Palace Opera are combining to present this concert performance of Richard Strauss’ monumental tragedy and operatic masterpiece Elektra. The title role will be taken by the rising star Catharine Woodward, described recently as “resplendent” and assured by the Telegraph, and “glorious” and “magnificent” by The Times and Seen and Heard respectively. In music that encompasses both the horrific and the heart-breaking, the cast and orchestra led by Ben Woodward will assure you a gripping and memorable evening.
